Coded Caching Over Multicast Routing Networks

چکیده
The coded caching scheme originally proposed by Maddah-Ali and Niesen (MAN) transmits multicast messages from a server to users equipped with caches via capacitated shared-link was shown be information theoretically optimal within constant multiplicative factor. This work extends the MAN class of two-hop wired-wireless networks including one connected fronthaul links layer H helper nodes (access points/base stations), which in turn communicate wireless access network K users, each its own cache. Two variants are considered, differ modeling segment. Both models should regarded as abstractions at “network layer” for physical scenarios such local area cellular networks, spatially distributed over certain coverage area. key our approach consists routing MAN-type through formulating an optimization problem that can solved exactly or we give powerful heuristic algorithms. Our addresses once many open practical problems identified stumbling blocks application scenarios, namely: asynchronous streaming sessions, finite file size, scalability large user mobility random activity (users joining leaving system arbitrary times), decentralized prefetching cache contents, end-to-end encryption HTTPS requests, renders oblivious users' demands.

Optimal Cost Multicast over Coded Packet Networks
Consider a situation where one source wants to transmit the same information to multiple receivers. Such a problem is referred to as single source multicast. However, in case of routed networks it is very hard to find the optimal distribution path from a sender to a given set of receivers. Employing network coding allows packets leaving forwarding devices to be not only replicas but arbitrary c...
متن کاملA Survey on Multicast Routing Approaches in Wireless Mesh Networks
Wireless mesh networks (WMNs) which mediates the broadband Internet access, have been recently received many attentions by the researchers. In order to increase capacity in these networks, nodes are equipped with multiple radios tuned on multiple channels emerging multi radio multi-channel WMNs (MRMC WMNs). Therefore, a vital challenge that poses in MRMC WMNs is how to properly assign channels ...
متن کاملAchieving Spatial Scalability for Coded Caching over Wireless Networks
The coded caching scheme proposed by Maddah-Ali and Niesen considers the delivery of files in a given content library to users through a deterministic error-free network where a common multicast message is sent to all users at a fixed rate, independent of the number of users. In order to apply this paradigm to a wireless network, it is important to make sure that the common multicast rate does ...
متن کاملOn the Coded Caching Delivery Design over Wireless Networks
Coded caching scheme is a promising technique to migrate the network burden in peak hours, which attains more prominent gains than the uncoded caching. The coded caching scheme can be classified into two types, namely, the centralized and the decentralized scheme, according to whether the placement procedures are carefully designed or operated at random. However, most of the previous analysis a...
متن کاملOptimal-constrained multicast sub-graph over coded packet networks
Network coding is a technique which can be used to improve the performance of multicast communications by performing encoding operations at intermediate nodes. In real-time multimedia communication applications, there are usually several weights associated with links, such as cost, delay, jitter, loss ratio, security, and so on. In this paper, we consider the problem of finding an optimal multi...
